摘要: Cadmium and two vanadate solutions as ‘metavanadate’ (containing ortho metavanadate species) ‘decavanadate’ decameric (5 mM) were injected intraperitoneously in Halobatrachus didactylus (Lusitanian toadfish), order to evaluate the effects of cadmium oligomeric species on methaemoglobin reductase activity from fish red blood cells. Following short-term exposure (1 7 days), different changes observed enzyme activity. After days exposure, increased by 67% (P<0.05), whereas, minor enzymatic upon administration. However, vitro studies indicate that vanadate, concentrations low 50 μM, besides strongly inhibiting activity, promotes haemoglobin oxidation methaemoglobin. Although showed be unstable media used this work, rate deoligomerization is general slow enough, making it possible study its effects. It concluded increase H. more pronounced exposition than species. Moreover, only promoted oxidation, suggesting speciation important vivo
