摘要: The effects of cadmium on intestinal calcium absorption and calcium-binding protein (CaBP) were investigated in chicks by means the situ ligated duodenal loop technique. Dietary cadmium, administered feed or gastric intubation, resulted significant declines mucosal concentrations. Cadmium chloride injected directly into naive also diminished CaBP concentrations an apparently dose-response related fashion. No adverse administration either 25- 1α-hydroxylation reactions vitamin D observed. While general effect was a reduction absorption, plasma levels consistently elevated Cd-treated chicks, with exception those maintained diets low Ca. results indicate that toxicity exerts at least two Ca metabolism, one level another bone, kidney, both.
