摘要: Highly collimated parsec-scale jets, which are generally linked to the presence of an accretion disk, commonly observed in low-mass young stellar objects. In past two decades, a few these jets have been directly (or indirectly) from higher-mass (larger than eight solar masses) objects, adding growing evidence that disk-mediated also occurs high-mass stars, formation mechanism is still poorly understood. Of massive none optical regime (massive stars typically highly obscured by their natal material), and found outside Milky Way. Here we report observations HH 1177, ionized jet originates object located Large Magellanic Cloud. The over its entire measured length at least ten parsecs has bipolar geometry. indicates ongoing, and, together with high degree collimation, implies this system probably formed through scaled-up version stars. We conclude physics govern launching collimation independent mass.
