摘要: Abstract Alumina industries produce Red mud as a residue in the refinery process, discharging millions of tonnes annually. This large discharge creates damage to surrounding water, air bodies. present work emphasizes utilizing red substituent cement. An investigation is carried out on mud-based cement mortar understand its mechanical and microstructure properties' performance. A proportionate replacement done range 0% 20% with 5% intervals mud. The was prepared proportion 1:1.5:0.52 behavioral performance were studied concern towards (compressive strength), durability properties (water absorption test) well analysis (X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy energy dispersive spectroscopy). results showed that exhibited better at 10% replacement. Durability enriched confirmed denser than normal mortar.
