摘要: We investigate the birth and diffusion of lexical innovations in a large dataset online social communities. build on sociolinguistic theories focus relation between spread novel term role individuals who use it, uncovering characteristics innovators adopters. Finally, we perform prediction task that allows us to anticipate whether an innovation will successfully within community.
