摘要: Recent reports have established atherosclerosis (AS) as a major factor in the pathogenetic process of cardiovascular diseases such ischemic stroke and coronary heart disease. Although possible pathogenesis AS remains to be elucidated, large number investigations strongly suggest that inhibition toll-like receptors (TLRs) alleviates severity some extent by suppressing vascular inflammation formation atherosclerotic plaques. As pattern recognition receptors, TLRs occupy vital position innate immunity, mediating various signaling pathways infective sterile inflammation. This review summarizes available data on research progress latest antiatherosclerotic drugs associated with TLR pathway.
