摘要: Aims: To investigate the transmission of Salmonella spp. between production animals (pigs and cattle) wildlife on animal farms in Denmark. Methods Results: In winter summer 2001 2002, 3622 samples were collected from Salmonella-infected noninfected herds pigs cattle surrounding wildlife. was detected carrying Salmonella-positive only during periods when animals. The presence Typhimurium wild birds significantly correlated to their migration pattern food preference. Conclusions: transmitted infected (cattle pigs) that lived amongst or close proximity them. Significance Impact Study: products is associated with occurrence primary production. Strategies control introduction spread infection should include management, as nearby may act reservoirs for ⁄ be passive carriers bacteria.
