摘要: The induction of bone sarcomas increases with both dose and protraction 224Ra irradiation. From data in man, we estimate that the risk coefficient ranges from about 40 up to 200 sarcomas/106 person·rad average skeletal dose, depending on whether is given a single injection or weekly for several years. Limited experimental results beagles mice suggest per rad should be roughly similar protracted irradiation 239Pu 224Ra, which decay large extent surfaces. Long-lived 226Ra 228Ra, mostly within volume, much smaller, estimated by us lie between 6 53 person·rad.
