On Drinking Styles and Race: A Consideration of the Socio-Structural Determinants of Alcohol Use Behavior

摘要: Often missing from the discourse on alcohol use is that “alcohol-related problems among college students” appears to be a euphemism for “white men” in students who experience alcohol-related disproportionately tend white men. An important aspect of promoting social and behavioral change understand race-related mechanisms structure desire engage use. This article presents findings based undergraduate attending Midwest university. The current study contributes theoretical literature race. We logistic regression models which suggest race attitudes pertaining relations matter predicting non-binge drinking abstinence behavior.
