摘要: Various parameters have been considered as possible predictors of health-related quality-of-life outcomes after THA in patients with hip osteoarthritis. We hypothesized the preintervention health status is main and more homogeneous predictor changes different aspects outcomes, mental has an important influence on results, whereas other sociodemographic or clinical factors had only a punctual influence. All who fulfilled selection criteria completed Medical Outcomes Study SF-36 Western Ontario McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index (WOMAC) before 6 months intervention. Seven hundred eighty-eight questionnaire intervention 590 it (74.9%) at months. The score each WOMAC domain predicted Female gender, having comorbidities, contralateral osteoarthritis, back pain less improvement some domains. Older age, presence Preintervention status, measured by SF-36, uniformly changes, seem to be appropriate tools for predicting outcomes.
