摘要: Abstract Mechanical behavior of hot rolled Mg–3Sn–1Ca (TX31) magnesium alloy sheets were studied in the temperature range 25–350 °C. The microstructure consisted eutectic structure α-Mg + Mg2Sn and a dispersion needle-like CaMgSn. highest room-temperature ductility 18% was obtained by rolling cast slabs at 440 °C, followed annealing 420 °C. high tensile deformation material characterized decrease work hardening exponent (n) an increase strain rate sensitivity index (m). These variations resulted respective drops proof stress strength from 126.5 MPa 220 MPa room to 23.5 MPa 29 MPa 350 °C. This contrast which increased 56% observed ascribed activity non-basal slip systems dynamic recovery temperatures. TX31 showed lower than AZ31 low temperatures, while it exhibited superior temperatures higher 200 °C, mainly due presence thermally stable CaMgSn particles.
