摘要: In IS-136 and GSM time-division multiple-access (TDMA) systems that employ dynamic channel allocation, it is important to minimize the number of active carriers for a given load. This paper studies carrier packing properties both call assignment repacking schemes, where average intra-sector (repack induced) handoffs per are relevant metrics. We show simple implement sequential trunk hunt (STH) scheme almost as good optimal intelligent (ICA) MaxPack these TDMA standards among all schemes. The schemes considered shown have either closed-form or efficient numerical recursive solutions North American standard, in most cases we obtain underlying state space distributions. A mixture analytic simulation results also presented standard. Numerical efficiency can be achieved simply by such ICA additional gain from generally 10-15% range typical configurations.
