摘要: Background The IL4, IL13, and IL4 receptor α chain (IL4RA) genes are candidate for atopic diseases. We hypothesized that the polymorphisms in these associated with persistent allergic rhinitis (PER). Objective To investigate association of potential functional IL4RA PER induced by house dust mites a Chinese population. Methods Using TaqMan method, we genotyped six single nucleotide (SNPs) including C-590T C-1055T Arg130Gln Ile50Val, Ser478Pro Gln551Arg IL4RA, case-control study 265 patients 275 healthy controls. Results We found CT/CC genotypes were significantly decreased risk mite-sensitized [adjusted odds ratio (OR) = 0.64, 95% confidence interval (CI) 0.45–0.92], compared to TT genotype. Furthermore, had lower serum levels total IgE than those genotype (P 0.001). However, there was no significant IL13 (P>0.05). Conclusions Our results suggest polymorphism may contribute susceptibility population.
