摘要: Obtaining reliable estimates of the structure carnivore communities is paramount importance because their ecological roles, ecosystem services and impact on biodiversity conservation, but they are still scarce. This information key for management: to build support acceptance management decisions policies it crucial that those based robust high quality information. Here, we combined camera live-trapping surveys, as well telemetry data, with spatially-explicit Bayesian models show usefulness an integrated multi-method multi-model approach monitor community structures. Our methods account imperfect detection effectively deal species non-recognizable individuals. In our Mediterranean study system, terrestrial was dominated by red foxes (0.410 individuals/km2); Egyptian mongooses, feral cats stone martens were similarly abundant (0.252, 0.249 0.240 individuals/km2, respectively), whereas badgers common genets least (0.130 0.087 respectively). The precision density improved incorporating multiple covariates, device operation, accounting removal presented here has substantial implications decision-making since allows, instance, evaluation, in a standard comparable way, responses interventions.
