摘要: Abstract Four kinds of coal, one weathered coal and petroleum asphalt, were carbonized with 120 wt% NaOH. With the addition NaOH, amount hydrogen evolved increases enormously temperature its evolution is lowered by 200–300°C. The reaction thought to be a dehydrogenation resulting from NaO- active methylene groups or aromatic nuclei, followed liberation causing some condensation reactions. At higher large CO evolves. This due reduction Na2O Na2CO3 produced in an earlier step reaction, residual carbon.
