摘要: The agricultural productivity is often based on non-parametric models (DEA), or stochastic (SFA). In this initial article, the editors start by pointing that (DEA and SFA) allow estimating efficiency of production frontier their structural forms. Then, it presented, in general terms, differences between DEA SFA models: model involves use technical linear programming to construct a piecewise surface, comprise econometric with random variable, an error term, including two components: one account for effects another take care inefficiency effects. Finally, shows comparison approaches (SFA DEA) advantages disadvantages utilizations.
