摘要: SUMMARY Explant culture of the adult goldfish retina results in vigorous neuritic growth, provided that optic nerve has been previously crushed vivo. The site new membrane addition these growing neurites was studied with a membrane-binding lectin Concanavalin A (Con A) conjunction fluorescent indirect antibody method. cultures were labeled Con A, followed by rabbit antibodies to A. This treatment shown immobilize receptors while permitting growth. Twenty-four hours later, washed preparation treated goat antirabbit antibodies. bound appeared as pattern contiguous speckles confined area old growth regions near distal end neurite not fluorescent. These are compatible hypothesis is added region tip neurite.
