摘要: In the current frenzy to find new biomarkers, it may be instructive consider how a small set of serum chemical tests for liver injury or dysfunction came considered ‘classic’. What are they and did come deserve referred as ‘classic’? Were qualified, validated, approved use by methods described elsewhere in this book? Do need retrospect? My answer is ‘no’ ‘no’. This chapter explores reasons why.
