摘要: A single cylinder TACOM-LABECO open chamber diesel engine with a special research head, which incorporates an American Bosch Electronic Fuel Injection System, was used to study the effects of air swirl, injection pressure and nozzle geometry on exhaust particulates, NO/subx emissions, ignition delay, heat release local flux measured at two positions head. Air swirl varied from 0.8 4.5 ratio by use shrouded intake valve. Peak 35-114 MPa. Five different geometries were tested. All data taken fixed operating condition 2000 rpm 0.5 equivalence inlet 1.5 atm nominal temperature 340/sup 0/K.
