摘要: The recent focus on the cystic fibrosis (CF) complex microbiome has led to recognition that microbes can interact between them and with host immune system, affecting disease progression treatment routes. Although main remains interactions traditional pathogens, growing evidence supports contribution role of emergent species. Understanding mechanisms biological effects involved in polymicrobial may be key improve effective therapies also define new strategies for control. This review focuses microbe–microbe host–microbe, from an ecological point view, discussing their impact CF progression. There are increasing indications these success antimicrobial therapy. Consequently, a approach where therapy is personalized patients by taking into account individual suggested.
