摘要: Plant interactions influence species distribution in an ecosystem. These may be related to phylogeny because close relatives might grow apart due stronger competition. Physical traits, such as size, also distribution. We tested whether woody plants from phylogenetically distant closer each other than ones desert scrubland, pine-oak forest, and thornscrub northeastern Mexico. The study was carried out using nearest neighbor physical distances. crown diameter for correlation with distance see if plant size influenced individuals. Phylogeny did not correlate between plants. Crown correlated the only scrubland. Our hypothesis of greater closely supported by our results, opposite found 20% studied.
