摘要: Background and Objective The aim was to investigate the efficacy, side effects, long-term results of a long pulsed Nd:YAG-Laser for hair removal in different colors skin types. Study Design/Materials Methods We performed prospective clinical study with 29 volunteers. Treatment on lower leg Nd:YAG-Laser. Five test areas were treated 1–5 times monthly intervals; one served as control. Follow-up investigations at each session, 3, 6, 12 months after last therapy. No depilatory treatment except shaving allowed during time follow-up. Percentual loss, short- pain evaluated. Results After month, loss greater than 50% found 44.9% once. With up five treatments, this percentage increased 71.5%. One year therapy, reduction still present 40% five-treatment-areas 0% only There no permanent effects despite small scar folliculitis. Conclusions The Nd:YAG is suitable remove more effectively, although 4–5 sessions are necessary these results. Blond can also be removed, much less effective. lasting could seen.
