Herpes Simplex Virus Infection of Human Dendritic Cells Induces Apoptosis and Allows Cross-Presentation via Uninfected Dendritic Cells

摘要: HSV efficiently infects dendritic cells (DCs) in their immature state and induces down-regulation of costimulatory adhesion molecules. As mice, infection human DCs also leads to rapid progressive apoptosis, we show that both early late viral proteins contribute its induction.
