摘要: This study aims at developing a non-invasive technique to evaluate periodontal loss of attachment in the oral cavity. A method imaging based on time-domain optical coherence tomography is proposed and studied. Based measurements, boundaries gingival tissue and tooth were seen separated by ≈0.3 mm. Further study progress image anatomical landmarks attachment. The conventional time domain OCT systems acquisition speed limited mechanical scanning system. In order to overcome this issue, novel electro-optic system proposed demonstrated. Studies performed initially with lithium niobate potassium titanyl phosphate crystals tuning range observed low. order to increase range, crystal high coefficient – tantalite was identified and experiments carried out characterise phase
