Dispersion characteristics of the periodically loaded corrugated cylindrical waveguide

摘要: In this paper, an approach using a mode-matching technique in conjunction with the Floquet theorem is employed to analyze dispersion characteristics of cylindrical waveguides periodically corrugated ground plane. The structure includes center conductor, outside which layered dielectric. outermost layer could be open radial direction, or shielded by perfect conductor. characteristic equation describes relation for periodic waveguide derived. influence geometrical and electrical parameters on passband/stopband investigated. Numerical results TM/sub 00/ modes are found have good agreement those presented literature.
