摘要: OBJECTIVE To report clinical and epidemiologic information, summarize characteristic signs laboratory results, describe the expected course of cycad toxicosis in dogs. DESIGN Retrospective study. ANIMALS 60 dogs with evidence ingestion. PROCEDURE The National Animal Poison Control Center's case record database was searched for records ingesting plants from January 1987 to November 1997. Data were retrieved on signs, test exposure history, physical examination findings. Cases assessed as toxicosis, suspected or possible toxicosis.
