摘要: Transdermal drug delivery offers an attractive alternative to injections and oral medications. However, applications of transdermal are limited only a few drugs as result low skin permeability. Application low-frequency ultrasound enhances permeability, phenomenon referred sonophoresis. In this method, short application is used permeabilize for prolonged period time. During period, ultrasonically permeabilized may be utilized delivery. addition, sample interstitial fluid or its components extracted through diagnostic applications. paper, we report our in vivo studies that demonstrate the principles both these concepts. Detailed on performed using inulin mannitol model drugs. Studies diagnostics glucose analyte. Applications technology discussed.
