Primary squamous cell carcinoma of the liver: A case report and review of the literature

摘要: Primary squamous cell carcinoma of the liver is rare. It has a high malignancy rate and poor prognosis, survival typically no longer than one year. The pathogenesis disease unclear, but generally considered to be correlated with long-term inflammation or metaplasia biliary epithelial cells congenital cyst liver. current viewpoint that surgical resection tumor, preoperative postoperative subsidiary chemoembolization, radiotherapy generalized chemotherapy may extend patient’s survival. In present case study, patient suffered from calculosis for over 20 years. We theorized mechanism carcinomatous change was persistent stimulation chronic infection induced by calculus intrahepatic duct.
