摘要: The factors determining successful derivation of human T lymphocyte hybrids are largely unknown. This report describes diploid and tetraploid clones the cell line CEM which were fused with either a (Jurkat) or peripheral blood lymphocytes (PBL). Fusions all CEMR Jurkat yielded at very high frequency (1 X 10(-4)). Fusion PBL no hybrids, whereas fusion resulted in growth frequencies 1 to 3 10(-6). Enumeration immediately after indicated that cases, cells represented 5 10% population. That ability yield viable was characteristic by finding variants clone could also fusion. Possible mechanisms for difference results generated cells, characteristics hybrid generated, discussed.
