摘要: The Central Cancer Library (The Netherlands Institute) and the Department of Information Science, University Pretoria conducted a cross-country exploratory study to evaluate current awareness service (CAS) offered by via PUBMED. intention was determine satisfaction with service, topics interest, reasons for using potential problems, pave way ongoing research that is manageable library information (LIS) practitioners can eventually make theoretical contribution. furthermore promote South African oncology nurses as method staying abreast in their field : they have access website monthly updates on topic(s) choice. Twenty eight healthcare professionals (mostly nurses) participated 6 from 22 Africa. For participants it seems if professional interest evidence-based nursing are most important CAS, be need offer good patients. value small-scale evaluation projects cooperation between academia praxis shown, paved continuation project.
