Alexander, M.S., 2006 Directed By: Professor Norman Epstein, Department Family Studies This study examined the interaction between relative socio-economic resources, such as income and level education, perceived social support on couples’ levels physical psychological abuse. It was hypothesized that individuals with fewer resources than their partner would utilize more aggression, higher exhibit less moderate relationship personal resource discrepancy aggressive behavior. The findings current suggest impact discrepancies depend gender perpetrator type abuse considered. also have clinical implications for importance gathering information about support.
