摘要: Original observations on meiotic cells in 17 species of the genus Acanthophyllum are reported. Of these, chromosome numbers, for 8 taxa viz, A. laxiusculum, heratense, caespitosum, pachycephalum, khuzistanicum, mucronatum, verticillatum and crassinodum new observations. The basic numbers x =1 4 andx = 15. Three ploidy levels were observed 15, diploidy (2n =2 30), tetraploidy =4 60) hexaploidy =6 90). Comparison morphological characters, chiasma average conguration have shown some similarities between three tetraploid microcephalum, mucronatum two hexaploid glandulosum. caespitosum is quite dierent from others, especially number (n 14) morphology inflorescence. Therefore, it seems that this taxon should be placed a section. occurrence polyploidy indicates phenomenon plays an important role evolution genus. Chromosome congurations polyploid all reported here rst time.
