摘要: Polymer coating systems are classically applied on a metal surface to provide dense barrier against the corrosive species. Coatings susceptible damage in form of cracks, which deep within structure where detection is difficult and repair almost impossible. Major advances for automatic repairing defects have been made present decade field self-healing polymeric materials. One most significant types smart coatings coating, has ability release encapsulated active agents controlled way. They can be employed develop new family multifunctional coatings. Incorporating micro/nanocapsules matrix provides agent rapidly after triggering due crack propagation gifts This review covers effective parameters synthesis micro/nanocapsules, several approaches fabricate based these capsules disadvantages embedding them matrix. Current comprehensive also all knowledge whom that concerned with corrosion prevention.
