摘要: Abstract An analysis of the underlying structure simple stories is presented. It claimed that this type representation used to form schemata which guide encoding and retrieval. A tree containing basic units their connections was found be adequate describe both single multi-episode stories. The outlined in a grammar, consisting rewrite rules defining relationships. Some transformational mapping surface structures are discussed. adequacy first tested against Bartlett's protocols “The War Ghosts.” Then developmental study recall concluded children adults sensitive stories, although some differences were found. Finally, it suggested related but not identical retrieval dependent on operative at time recall.
