摘要: Anaerobic processes are used to treat high strength organic wastewater as well for the treatment of primary and secondary sludge from conventional plants. In these processes, heterotrophic microorganisms convert biodegradable matter methane carbon dioxide in absence dissolved oxygen nitrate. Some most important aspects design anaerobic digesters related hydraulic considerations. spite its role performance, hydraulics flow inside has not been quantified or adequately characterized. this contribution a three-dimensional steady-state computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation performed particular digester, order visualize patterns. Flow velocities profiles have represented digester identify possible dead zones stratifications.
