摘要: The promotion of neurological recovery by enhancing neuroplasticity has recently obtained strong attention in the stroke field. Experimental studies support hypothesis that can be improved therapeutic interventions augment neuronal sprouting. However plasticity responses neurons are highly complex, involving growth and differentiation axons, dendrites, dendritic spines synapses, which depend on pathophysiological setting tightly controlled extracellular intracellular signals. Thorough mechanistic insights needed into how is influenced plasticity-promoting therapies order not to risk success future clinical proof-of-concept studies. Key words: Clinical translation, differentiation, plasticity, regeneration, restorative therapy.
