Are homework purposes and student achievement reciprocally related? A longitudinal study

摘要: The current study examines reciprocal influences of homework purposes (approval-seeking, self-regulatory, and academic) math achievement, using data from 1365 students in grade 8 at two measurement points. Results indicated there were positive (a) academic purpose (b) self-regulatory purpose. further revealed that prior achievement had a effect on later Meanwhile, approval-seeking negative achievement. Taken together, the present advance extant research, by differentiating three types models influences, showing their respective relationships with over time.
