摘要: Abstract This research, which was based on the data envelopment analysis (DEA) model and Malmquist index, studies difference for period 2000–2012 in efficiency of coal consumption pattern classification China's 30 provinces as well major eastern, central, western, northeastern areas. Firstly, static results showed that technical (TE) 0.710, pure (PTE) 0.803, scale (SE) 0.889. The PTE, needs to be further improved, main factor affecting TE. ranking TE four regions eastern region, northeast central last place western region. dynamic change index total-factor 0.899 average annual growth rate was −10.1%. Efficiency (EC) (TC) were −4.7% and −5.7%, respectively. interaction EC TC resulted a negative efficiency. among expanded each year. Secondly, by measuring excluding environmental factors then including we were able classify China. Finally, provided some policy suggestions aimed at improving consumption.
