摘要: Abstract Smooth muscle cell migration is a key step of atherosclerosis and angiogenesis. We demonstrate that αVβ3 αVβ5 integrins synergistically regulate smooth onto vitronectin. Using an original haptotactic assay, we measured strong stimulation phosphoinositide metabolism in migrating vascular cells. Phosphatidic acid production 3-kinase IA activation were triggered only upon αVβ3engagement. Blockade engagement or phospholipase C activity resulted inhibition spreading on By contrast, blockade reinforced elongation polarization shape. Moreover, Pyk2-associated tyrosine kinase 4-kinase activities Pyk2 immunoprecipitates stimulated migration. either function, as well activity, decreased both activities. demonstrated the corresponded to β isoform. Our data point phosphoinositides regulatory pathway for differential roles played by identify common target integrins.
