An inventory of ancient woodland for England and Wales

摘要: Abstract Since 1981 the Nature Conservancy Council has been compiling an inventory of ancient woodland for England and Wales. We describe methods used problems encountered. The current area looses semi-natural over last 50 years are quantified each county.
