Indatraline: Synthesis and Effect on the Motor Activity of Wistar Rats

摘要: A new approach for the synthesis of indatraline was developed using as key step an iodine(III)-mediated ring contraction a 1,2-dihydronaphthalene derivative. Behavioral tests were conducted to evaluate effect and its precursor indanamide on motor activity Wistar rats. Specific indexes ambulation, raising stereotypy computed one, two three hours after i.p. drug administration. Indatraline effects lasted at least hours. On other hand, no significant differences in observed indanamide. The results suggest that has long lasting add evidence favor potential use compound substitute cocaine addiction.
