摘要: The inertia and Landau damping of low‐frequency magnetohydrodynamical modes are investigated using the drift‐kinetic energy principle for motion along magnetic field. Toroidal trapping ions decreases increases frequencies below (r/R)1/2vthi/qR. theory is applied to toroidicity‐induced Alfven eigenmodes resistive wall in rotating plasmas. An explanation beta‐induced eigenmode given terms Pfirsch–Schluter‐like enhancement at low frequency. toroidal also effects plasma rotation on modes.
