摘要: Nowadays, power system inertia is changing as a consequence of replacing conventional units by renewable energy sources, mainly wind and photovoltaic plants. This fact affects significantly the grid frequency response under imbalances. As result, new control strategies for plants are being developed to emulate behaviour such contingencies. These approaches usually called `virtual emulation techniques'. In this study, an analysis estimation from excursions carried out considering different methodologies, discussing applicability coherence these methodologies supply-side circumstances. The modelled involves including in line with current mix generation scenarios. Results show that all considered provide accurate result estimate equivalent based on rotational directly connected grid. However, significant discrepancies found when included decoupled way, authors consider it necessary define alternative virtual emulation. Extensive discussion results also provided study.
