摘要: Abstract. Ozone (O3) plays an important role in chemical reactions and is usually incorporated data assimilation (DA). In tropical cyclones (TCs), O3 shows a lower concentration inside the eyewall elevated around eye, impacting meteorological as well variables. To identify impact of observations on TC structure, including information, we developed coupled meteorology–chemistry DA system by employing Weather Research Forecasting model with Chemistry (WRF-Chem) ensemble-based algorithm – maximum likelihood ensemble filter (MLEF). For case that occurred over East Asia, Typhoon Nabi (2005), our results indicate forecast reasonable, accompanied larger background state uncertainty TC, also eastern China. Similarly, impacts variables near The strongest air quality troposphere was China, likely due to pollution advection. vicinity however, adjustment at higher levels. similar both China TC. analysis are verified using several measures include cost function, root mean square (RMS) error respect observations, degrees freedom for signal (DFS). All positive function RMS have decreased 16.9 8.87 %, respectively. particular, DFS indicates strong area, weaker northeastern
