摘要: The Learning at Work Project, funded by the Scottish Higher Education Funding Council, was initiated University of Stirling. It developed in response to an awareness that many employed people, especially those on shop floor, are excluded from access higher education due a number situational, institutional and dispositional barriers. Project seeks provide preparatory program for is negotiated as tripartite agreement between employers, employeesand university, based around workplace. This article addresses educational participation adults lower socio-economic backgrounds barriers they experience.
