摘要: A prospective observational study of post-delivery care and neonatal body temperature, carried out at Kathmandu Maternity Hospital, was followed by a randomized controlled intervention using three simple methods for maintaining temperature. There were 500 infants in the initial observation 300 study. In study, 85% (420/495) had temperatures < 36 degrees C 2 h nearly 50% (198/405) 24 (14% 35 C). Most who cold initially become time delivery (only seven been both well dried wrapped). all wrapped before random assignment to one methods: "kangaroo" method, traditional "oil massage" or "plastic swaddler". All found be equally effective. Overall, 38% (114/298) 18% (41/231) (when none
