Experimental study on flow boiling heat transfer and pressure drop of R245fa/R141b mixture in a horizontal microfin tube

摘要: Abstract The heat transfer and pressure drop characteristics of the mixture are design basis evaporators optimization Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC). As a promising for ORC systems, R245fa/R141b with different mass fractions (1/0, 0.75/0.25, 0.5/0.5, 0.25/0.75 0/1) were selected as working fluid. coefficient (HTC) frictional in horizontal microfin tube 8.6 mm equivalent diameter measured. During experimental tests, saturation is vary from 0.15 to 0.25 MPa (saturation temperature 25.3 60.5 ℃), fluxes 203.19 306.64 kg•m-2 s-1, 7 15 kW m-2. Additionally, based on empirical correlations literature, we developed correlation higher prediction accuracy. results indicate that HTC increase flux, while decrease pressure. fraction R245fa an friction R245fa/R141b. Cavallini–Kattan consistent data mean absolute deviations 16.68%. When flux less than 200 kg m-2 s-1 vapor quality 0.2, modified Dittus–Boelter can predict 87.3% points error range ±30% MAD 6.75%. drop, ±10.34% obtained by Filho correlation.
