摘要: The genetic analysis of complex disorders has undoubtedly led to the identification a wealth associations between genes and specific traits. However, moving from genetics biochemistry one gene at time has, date, rather proved inefficient under-powered comprehensively explain molecular basis phenotypes. Here we present novel approach, weighted protein–protein interaction network (W-PPI-NA), highlight key functional players within relevant biological processes associated with given trait. This is exemplified in current study by applying W-PPI-NA frontotemporal dementia (FTD): We first built state art FTD protein (FTD-PN) then analyzed both its topological features.
