摘要: Two diets consisting of natural foods that differed in fiber content were fed to 12 men for 6 wk each a crossover design. Diet 1 contained 37 g total dietary (TDF) from fruits and vegetables diet 2 16 TDF fruit vegetable juices 2800-kcal menu. Seven-day food, urine fecal composites made analyzed their gross energy, fat, protein carbohydrate during the fourth fifth weeks consumption period. The metabolizable energy (ME) these was determined (gross - feces) calculated by Atwater's general conversion factors (4, 9, 4), specific used U.S. food table formulas derived various researchers. coefficients availability energy-containing nutrients, carbohydrate, lower while subjects consuming higher diet. gave better estimates true ME than diet, overestimating only 6% (diet 1) 4.6% 2).
