摘要: Abstract A sector that contributes immensely to global warming due the release of harmful gases into atmosphere annually is automotive industry. This has led several optimization diesel engines from their initial inert system with lower power density fast running types higher densities. Despite these modifications coupled introduction Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) and Particulate Filter (DPF), there are still environmental concerns need be critically analyzed. The current have challenges pertaining NOx reduction lean operations. These limitations further technological evolution Selective Catalytic Reduction storage catalysts (NSC). investigation therefore explored state (SCR) catalyst effect temperature uniform distribution ammonia associated technologies were reviewed. Factors impeding integration in industry also discussed Possible solutions mitigate proposed. From review gathered, for research activities this field terms enhance overall performance engine cars toxic emission.
